Corporate Identity: Disco Shrine Logo

This is a freelance project where I have created a personal and lifestyle branding proposal for Disco Shrine an emerging electro-pop music artist, songwriter, DJ, and event curator. Known for her debut single, ‘Up In The Air’ through French label Kitsune in partnership with the NBA. The song was inspired by her parents’ immigration story to America from Iran. Therefore, the logo will be meaningful and relevant towards Disco Shrine existing style.

Process:

Brief, Research, Initial Ideas, Development, Outcome
Concept

The type used for the logo design is: Body Family by Zetafonts. I carefully selected this typeface to highlight the American culture, as well as relating to Disco Shrine existing branding ideas. The use of the two parts relates to the idea of identity of Iran and America. This helps create a meaningful approach towards the logo which relates to diversity.
I have created variation of the logo to show where the logo will be printed, on tickets for events and on business cards. The use of the repeated type on the business cards comes from the existing branding for Disco Shrine. It also mimics the idea of movement taken from the migration story from the single, ‘Up In The Air’.
